Over this two day, one night retreat we participated in a juice cleanse. We began by learning about the benefits of juicing, with juice served and available throughout the day. For those new to juicing or wanting more, we had light snacks and local organic farm fresh greens, fruit and boiled eggs available. All local organic farm fresh fare were graciously donated by Big Rock Farms and Mulberry Farms.

Guests also had the opportunity to participate in a meditation circle and open their heart chakras at our a cacao ceremony. We offered guided yoga classes each morning. During free time, guests could schedule a massage, use the pool, sauna or hot tub, create a vision board, journal, have quiet time, take a stroll –whatever makes felt great.

The Healing Vibes Retreat was held at Heartwood Institute, nestled in the picturesque hills of Humboldt County. Heartwood Institute is dedicated to promoting social and environmental abundance through the research, education and demonstration of sustainable living practices. They lead by example and model alternative ways of living that build stronger communities, regenerate the environment and achieve economic prosperity. They offer a holistic, hands-on approach, focusing on cultivating healthy relationships with all that sustains us – our land, our farm, our community. To learn more about Heartwood, check out their website.
